An unfinished attic in Berlin was measured and documented. The survey records the geometry, construction and spatial conditions of the roof space. Plans and sections establish the varying room heights and existing roof structure, providing a clear basis for subsequent design work. Building on this documentation, design options explore the possibility of four new apartments while retaining the original roof form. Bringing the unused volume into residential use offers additional living space within the existing building. The role covered measurement, the architectural survey and preparation of the base drawings used to investigate the potential attic conversion.
