The competition proposal embeds the wine resort’s buildings in the existing topography among vineyards and olive groves. The landscape guides the distribution of uses and the arrangement of routes. A central building brings together the lobby, restaurant, spa and conference facilities. Two-storey hotel accommodation sits horizontally among the trees, while holiday homes follow a path along the hillside. Ramps and steps lead to a viewpoint overlooking the landscape towards the sea. Shared facilities and individual places of retreat are connected through the landscape. The role at Studio Cecchetto & Associati included the design concept, drawings, visualisations and model-making. The proposal received first prize.
